Meghalaya BJP leader who ran sex racket in farmhouse arrested from UP, the party defended by saying

Meghalaya BJP vice-president Bernard N Marak has been arrested for running a sex racket in the farmhouse. He was on the run since the disclosure of this case on July 24. He was arrested from Uttar Pradesh this evening. Now he will be handed over to Meghalaya Police for further action in the sex racket case. Let us inform that today itself, the Meghalaya Police had issued a non-bailable warrant against BJP leader Bernard N.

BJP leader Bernard N Marak, who ran a sex racket, was coming to Delhi after fleeing from Meghalaya. Meanwhile, he was arrested in Hapur, UP. His arrest has been confirmed by Meghalaya DGP LR Bishnoi. The DGP said that Marak has been arrested from Hapur district. Meghalaya Police had issued an alert to trace them. Marak was arrested while checking vehicles on the national highway.

75 people including six children were arrested
It may be mentioned that on July 24, the police had uncovered a big sex racket by raiding in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya. This sex racket was being run from BJP leader Marak’s farmhouse. Marak was absconding after the raid. Police in West Garo Hills district claimed to have arrested 75 people, including six children, from Barnard’s farmhouse.

More than 500 condoms were found from the farmhouse
West Garo Hills Police Chief Vivekanand Singh Rathore, while talking to the media on Saturday, told that looking at the material and its design found from the BJP leader’s farmhouse, it appears that Bernard N Marak used it “to run a brothel”. Please tell that 400 bottles of liquor and more than 500 condoms were recovered from Marak’s farmhouse.

Meghalaya CM denies BJP’s allegations
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has denied the BJP’s allegations. Konrad Sangma said that this is a police matter, I do not want to say anything in it. Police is taking action as soon as the evidence is available. CM further said that I want to assure you that whatever action is taken will be under the law.
