Uttarakhand : Dengue outbreak increased in Haldwani, four more patients confirmed the disease, one patient of Black Fever also admitted

Along with viral fever, dengue cases have started increasing in the city. Dengue has been confirmed in four more patients admitted to Dr. Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital on Friday. In this, the condition of one patient remains critical.

A patient admitted to STH is a resident of Champawat. Apart from this, three patients are residents of Haldwani and nearby areas. Nodal in-charge Dr. Paramjit Singh informed that ELISA report of three patients has come positive and card test report of one patient is positive. The sample of this patient has also been sent for ELISA test. One of the patients is bleeding. Their age ranges from 22 to 30 years.

Be cautious about Black Fever

Principal of Government Medical College Prof. Arun Joshi told that three patients of Kala-azar were admitted. In this, a patient resident of Pithoragarh had died. One patient has been discharged after treatment. There is another patient admitted, whose treatment is going on. Dr. Joshi told that timely treatment of the disease is necessary. Therefore, there is a need to be cautious about the disease.
