Chhattisgarh: ‘How long will you be afraid of ED- Income Tax, if you bother unnecessarily, then get an FIR… action will be taken’, said CM Bhupesh Baghel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has targeted the central government over the action of central investigative agencies. CM Baghel said that today there is an atmosphere of fear in the country. It is difficult to run a government in a non-BJP ruled state. It has become a crime to ask questions these days. CM Bhupesh Baghel was speaking at the Agrasen Mahotsav-2022 in Bhilai. He said, ‘Nowadays questioning has become a crime. If you ask any question these days you will be branded anti-religion or anti-national. Asking questions is prohibited in this country today.

CM Baghel said that if someone does wrong then punish him but you cannot run the government by creating an atmosphere of fear. This is the situation in the whole country today. Protests are taking place against ED and IT. If a resolution is passed against them in the West Bengal Assembly, people are taking to the streets.

Get FIR, action will be taken: Baghel
Chhattisgarh CM said, ‘How long will we be afraid? How long will we tolerate this? No need to be afraid of DRI, ED, IT. If you are harassed unnecessarily, I assure you, as the head of Chhattisgarh government, lodge an FIR against such officer in any police station of the state, action will be taken against him.

Congress also agitated. He said that if there is a demonstration against a police station, then there is a disturbance in the system. It is the responsibility of the people at the top to rectify this mess.
