Dinesh Chand Mishra told that on September 24, a Shiv procession was going out at the Gymkhana ground. The loudspeaker was ringing along with his fireworks. Frightened by the noise, August was repeatedly trying to hide in the house. When he came down around 9:30 pm, the door to living was left open. Meanwhile, August fled from there. He searched the dog in many parts of the city including Sadar Bazar, Rajban, Lalkurti, Begumpul, but it was not found. On October 1, Megha along with her husband Mihir Kamani reached Meerut from London and announced to give Rs 15,000 to the searcher on August.
