Uttarakhand : In Haridwar, on October 13, elections will be held for the posts of Block Chief and on 14th District Panchayat President and Vice President, notification issued

Elections will be held on October 13 for the posts of Block Pramukh and other posts in the district and for the post of District Panchayat President and Vice President on October 14. The State Election Commission has issued the notification for the elections on Friday. The nomination papers will be filled by 3 pm on October 10, while the counting of votes will begin after the end of the polling. According to the notification issued by the State Election Commissioner Chandrashekhar Bhatt, polling will be held on October 13 for the post of Kshetra Panchayat Pramukh, Senior Deputy Pramukh and Junior Deputy Chief in Haridwar district’s Kshetra Panchayat Bhagwanpur, Laksar, Bahadrabad, Narsan, Roorkee, Khanpur.

The counting of votes will be done on the same day. The date of nomination for these posts has been fixed as October 10. Nominations will be withdrawn on October 11. Voting for the post of District Panchayat President and Vice President will be held on October 14. The date of nomination for these posts has been fixed on October 10 and withdrawal on October 11.
