Uttar Pradesh : Start the statewide road repair campaign soon, roads should be pothole-free by November 15 – CM Yogi

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to all the departments of the state. In the high-level meeting convened on Thursday, the Chief Minister gave necessary directions regarding the said campaign. In the meeting, CM Yogi also reviewed the preparations for the 81st session of the Indian Road Congress to be held in the capital Lucknow from October 08. Due to this, the Chief Minister has directed that a state-wide campaign to repair the roads should be started soon. With this, he has asked the Uttar Pradesh State Highway Authority (Upsha) to prepare an action plan for road construction on PPP mode, so that private private investment is encouraged.

In the high level meeting, he directed that a state-wide campaign should be started soon for pothole-free roads. For this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also fixed a time limit that by November 15, all the roads of Uttar Pradesh should be completely pothole free. In a meeting held at his official residence, Yogi reviewed the preparations for the 81st session of the Indian Road Congress to be held in the capital from October 8 and also discussed the condition of the roads. He said that better connectivity is the vehicle of progress.

Yogi said that unprecedented work has been done in this field in the last five years under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today there is good road connectivity to remote villages. There is a network of excellent roads till the border area. The people of the state are getting its direct benefit. He said that along with the construction of the road, its maintenance should also be taken care of. It is also necessary to repair the roads from time to time. It is necessary to have good roads in industrial areas and agricultural market areas. Special attention should be given to this. Yogi made it clear that this campaign of pottery should be completed by November 15.
