Unhappy with a moneylender’s 20 percent interest, the borrower set out to sell his kidney. He was found after a lot of searching. He told that he had taken a loan of Rs. In return, the moneylender has been given interest of Rs 67 lakh. The land has been sold. Now he had gone out to sell the kidney. Vijaypal, son of Rajpal, a resident of Shivpuri, Mohalla of Gajraula, an industrial town in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, had joined the Philippines in the year 2017 to study medicine. During that time he had originally borrowed four lakh rupees from Deepak Kumar of Chaudhary Khem Singh Colony, resident of village Attari and Hall, but then Vijaypal’s father died. Because of which he could not go to the Philippines.

The moneylender charged 20 percent interest

It is alleged that after six months, the moneylender Deepak reached his house and started demanding eight lakh rupees by charging 20 percent interest on four lakh rupees. He threatened to kill the victim along with his family if he refused to pay the amount. Vijpal told that till now he has given 35 lakh rupees to the moneylender by selling the land and 32 lakh rupees by taking loan from the bank on the remaining land. Even after this the account was not over.

Police started investigation by registering a report

Due to this stress, he disappeared with the intention of selling his kidney and repaying the account. Then relatives and friends searched for him and explained. The victim also alleges that Deepak has also taken money from his sister-in-law. Now the police has registered an FIR against the accused Deepak on the complaint of the victim on Friday night. Inspector in-charge Rajesh Tiwari has confirmed this.
