Uttarakhand : CM Dhami conducted surprise inspection of ISBT, drinking water of RO, feedback taken from passengers
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is visiting the ground these days and reviewing the facilities available to our people. On Thursday afternoon, the Chief Minister made a surprise visit to Dehradun ISBT. During this he reviewed all the arrangements of ISBT. Sath hi kuch yatritre se baat bhi ki. During this time Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also found some defects there, regarding which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also gave instructions to the officials. Apart from this he also took feedback from passengers. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also drank RO water at ISBT. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that some complaints of daggamari have been received, which will be remedied soon. Apart from this, the authorities have also been spoken to for other problems that have come up.
During the inspection, CM Dhami gave strict instructions to the concerned officials that if the sanitation system is not improved then strict action will be taken against the concerned officials and the company which is looking after this system. Chief Minister directed that complete arrangement of pure drinking water should be made at ISBT. Proper arrangement of sanitation and water in toilets should be ensured. Chief Minister said that ISBT will be re-inspected soon. If all arrangements are not rectified till then, strict action will be taken against the concerned officials and employees.
The Chief Minister while inspecting the ticket booking counters directed that proper arrangements should be made for announcements before departure of buses bound for different areas from ISBT. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the passengers. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that a meeting of the Transport Department will be held soon. The Chief Minister said that he would also inspect other bus stands in the state.
During the inspection, he directed the concerned officials that if illegal parking and encroachments are found near ISBT, action should be taken against them. Beautification should also be done around the ISBT, it should be ensured that all the CCTV cameras installed at the ISBT are always on. In view of the festivals, the demand of passengers will also be more, without any inconvenience to the passengers, all necessary arrangements should be made by the transport department.
