Uttarakhand Government has changed the responsibilities of one IAS and one PCS officer. IAS Varun Choudhary has been removed as Chief Development Officer in Chamoli and has been placed on mandatory waiting. At the same time, PCS officer Lalit Narayan Mishra has been relieved of his current responsibility and assigned new responsibility.

These officers have been transferred with the letter of Joint Secretary Shyam Singh. In this, IAS officer Varun Chaudhary, who was till now looking after the responsibility of Chief Development Officer in Chamoli, has been removed from this responsibility and has been placed on compulsory waiting.

During this time, Varun Chaudhary will be attached to the office of the Revenue Council. On the other hand, PCS officer Lalit Narayan Mishra has been removed from the post of ADM in Udhamsingh Nagar and now he has been given the new responsibility as Chief Development Officer in Chamoli.
