Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Mandi Committee and inspected the paddy purchasing center of SMI. During this, he also measured the moisture content of paddy at the purchasing center. The moisture content of paddy in the machine turned out to be about 15 percent less than the standard. On this, the CM said that every grain of the crop should be procured. The farmers demanded from the CM to raise the humidity standard from 17 to 20 percent. Earlier, the officials and BJP workers welcomed CM Dhami. CM met local people. CM’s helicopter landed at Radhasoami Satsang Ground on Friday evening. After this, CM Dhami arrived in the car to inspect the paddy purchasing center in the Agricultural Produce Market Committee. While inspecting the arrangements there, he gave necessary instructions to the officials after taking information related to the purchase of paddy. He also tested the quality of paddy with the help of a moisture gauge.

CM Dhami said that the weight of the farmer’s produce should be correct at all the paddy purchasing centers. During the inspection, the farmers demanded to increase the moisture level of paddy from 17 percent to 20 percent due to rain and to buy paddy along with the primary farmers of the state. He said that all possible relief will be given to the farmers on moisture. CM Dhami told the purchase center in-charge that paddy from UP should not come here and the farmers of the area should not face any kind of problem. During the inspection, MLA Rudrapur Shiv Arora, Deputy Chairman of Farmers Commission Rajpal Singh, SSP Manjunath TC, SDM Ravindra Singh Bisht, Kichha SDM Kaustubh Mishra, Mandi Committee President Nandan Singh Khadayat etc. were present.

At the same time, many people, including businessman leader Thakur Mahendra Singh, welcomed the CM by wearing a Uttarakhandi cap and wearing a shawl near the businessman leader’s establishment. The traders expressed their gratitude for the announcement of increasing the accident insurance of GST registered traders from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. After this, CM Dhami inquired about the well-being of Bishan Singh, resident of village Koyati, Sandark, village of Champawat, admitted to a private hospital located on Tanakpur Road. Dr. Arif Khan, who was treating him, told that five days ago, Bishan was bitten by a snake. His condition is reported to have improved. CM Dhami also encouraged the relatives of Bishan.

Will take care of Khatima’s development and public: Dhami

Khatima. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to public grievances at Khatima Fibers Factory premises. He inquired about the development of the area and pending problems. He asked the officers to increase the pace of development works and to maintain law and order from the police-administration. CM Dhami said that Khatima is his birth and work place. The development here will take place in a planned manner. CM Dhami said that wherever he may live, he will take care of Khatima’s development and its people.

The CM said that Namami Gange Ghat, Gaushala, 54 km State Highway, beautification and widening of the road from the main square of the city to Tharu Vikas Bhawan, CSD canteen for the convenience of ex-servicemen in village Khetalsanda Kham, Revenue Department in old tehsil premises. Housing for the employees, power house under construction of pitkul, warehouse will be constructed for the convenience of the farmers in the mandi.
