The Transport Corporation management, which has been facing severe financial crisis for the last several months, has breathed a sigh of relief on the occasion of Diwali. According to Transport Corporation officials, on Saturday, two days before Diwali, where thousands of passengers traveled in Transport Corporation buses, the corporation earned a record Rs 2.62 crore as passenger fare in a single day. Along with this, Dehradun division has the highest income of Rs 1.50 crore. Divisional Manager of Dehradun Division of Transport Corporation, Sanjay Gupta said that a large number of passengers traveled on Saturday in depots like Doon ISBT, Hill Depot, Roorkee, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Kotdwar and in a single day, a record Rs 1.50 crore income relief. It is a matter of giving.

According to Gupta, after Diwali, once again there will be a huge crowd of passengers, for which preparations have already been completed. Told that on Saturday, the number of passengers suddenly increased in ISBT, due to which 11 additional buses had to be arranged. Passengers from Bareilly, Moradabad, New Delhi were included. While there was a heavy rush of passengers at ISBT on Saturday, very few passengers traveled on Sunday. In such a situation, the Transport Corporation Management did not have to make arrangements for the operation of additional buses.
