Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan has called an all-party meeting regarding the Uttarakhand assembly session. It will be decided in the meeting whether the assembly session will be held in the summer capital Gairsain (Bharadisain) or in the capital Dehradun. The meeting will be held in Dehradun Vidhan Sabha on October 31 at 3 pm. In this regard, Hem Chandra Pant, the secretary-in-charge of the assembly, has sent information about the meeting to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Agrawal, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya and BSP Legislature Party leader Mohammad Shahzad. Assembly Speaker Khanduri said that he has spoken to all the leaders of the Legislature Party over the phone regarding the meeting.

Let us inform that the assembly session is proposed in the month of November. Earlier, the session was expected to be convened in the first fortnight of October. There were indications that the session would be held in the Bharadisain assembly. Politics has also been heating up on this issue. The opposition had made it an issue when the budget session was not in Gairsain. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat had even done Satyagraha. Due to the onset of cold, the possibilities of convening the winter session in Bharadisain Vis are less, but there is no dispute about the place and date of the session, so the Speaker has called an all-party meeting. The date, duration and place of the commencement of the session can be decided in this meeting.
