Teachers will not conduct survey in UP, but ‘students will have to reach school 15 minutes before, if they disappear, salary will be deducted’

In Uttar Pradesh, it will be mandatory for government school teachers to reach the schools 15 minutes before the students. Also, after being present for at least 30 minutes after the teaching period, the register and other things will have to be updated and the outline of the next day’s class will have to be prepared. The state government gave this information on Friday. It is being told that with this step of the state government, regular attendance of teachers in government schools will be ensured.

In the instructions issued by the government, 100% adherence to the weekly calendar has to be ensured. Its objective is to establish a learning environment in government schools, which will provide quality education to the students. If the adherence to the timetable prescribed in the academic calendar is not ensured, then in addition to its fulfillment, arrangements for classes will have to be made.

Teachers will not survey
At the same time, the school management has been instructed that no activities like rallies, prabhat pheris or seminars will be organized during the classes. Also, teachers will not conduct house hold survey of any department. Let us tell you that in all the work like elections, vote counting, pulse polio campaign, teachers were often on duty, due to which the education of the school was interrupted. Many times the teachers had expressed their opposition to this.

Report sought regarding adherence to timetable
According to Director General of School Education Vijay Kiran Anand, this order has been issued as the time table and assignments for academic work in schools were not found satisfactory. A report has been sought from all the District Basic Education Officers in the state regarding all academic work including the hours of study in schools till November 20.
