Florence Nightingale Award to 2 nurses from Kumaon, Nainital’s Shashikala-Khatima Ganga honored by the President

Two women of Kumaon have achieved the feat today. Matron Shashikala Pandey of BD Pandey Hospital, Nainital and ANM Ganga Joshi at Khatima Civil Hospital, Udham Singh Nagar were honored with the National Florence Nightingale Award 2021 by President Draupadi Murmu today.

Matron Shashikala Pandey of BD Pandey Hospital Nainital, Nainital district headquarters, has been awarded the National Florence Nightingale Award from the President for the efficient management of patients in adverse circumstances during the COVID period. President Draupadi Murmu presented the National Florence Nightingale Awards for the year 2021 to nursing professionals at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday. In which Matron Shashikala Pandey, posted as a nurse in Nainital BD Pandey District Hospital, is also included.

Corona warrior has also got respect

Shashikala was given this honor for her dedication and selfless service towards her patients. Shashikala Pandey is serving in BD Pandey District Hospital for more than two decades. Shashikala has also got the honor of Corona Warrior, who has given commendable service in the difficult circumstances of the epidemic period.

Visually impaired person had service for 26 days

Sasikala rendered her exemplary service to a visually challenged person for 26 days. In view of this dedication and service towards the patients, he was honored with this honor.
