Uttarakhand : Announcement of CM Dhami, rejuvenation of 200 schools every year, will bring new tourism policy in three months

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the main program of the State Foundation Day and the Police Rathical Parade at the Race Course in Dehradun. During this, he gave information about the upcoming schemes and achievements of the state government. CM Dhami also made many announcements on the occasion of State Foundation Day. He said that the GDP of the state will be doubled by 2027. An advisory firm will be selected to suggest ways to increase the GDP while judicious use of the state’s resources and increasing the sources of income. Simplified hydropower policy and solar power policy will be implemented within 3 months to increase energy production and attract investors in the state.
200 schools will be rejuvenated every year under the transformation program to strengthen, expand, and enhance the quality of education, infrastructure facilities under the Department of School Education, 1000 schools will be transformed in the next 5 years.
On the lines of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal, Uttarakhand will also be promoted on production of high value crops instead of low value crops, so that the income of crop growers can be increased. To attract investment in the field of tourism, the new tourism policy will be put on the ground within the next 3 months. State Livestock Mission is being started to make the cattle farmers financially empowered in the state.
A target has been set to make 10,000 women group entrepreneurs in the state in the next 5 years. Under this, any women and women’s group will be able to set up small industries in rural areas. Various dimensions of Uttarakhand’s movement and folk culture will also be included in our text books. Chief Minister Choupal program will be started to solve the problems of Tehsil level.
