Uttarakhand : CM Dhami met Japanese delegations, discussed the techniques to control disasters
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held discussions with Japanese delegations for cooperation in various sectors like agriculture, auto, wellness, pharmaceutical etc. at the CM’s residence on Tuesday. CM Dhami informed that we also discussed about technical cooperation to control natural calamities. Japan is one of the leading countries in the world in the auto sector. Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Honda are the car companies of Japan which have a huge craze around the world. The world’s top wellness centers are also in Japan. Along with this, Japan is also known for its experiments in agriculture. Japan’s fame in agriculture and pharmaceutical is worldwide. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand wants to give the benefit of these arts of Japan to Uttarakhand.
Japan is the most sensitive country in the world in terms of earthquakes. Despite this, the world admires the kind of technology he has developed to deal with earthquakes. These days Uttarakhand is also trembling with earthquake almost daily. In such a situation, Uttarakhand can get the benefit of Japanese technology. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uttarakhand is a sensitive state from the point of view of earthquake and disaster. What cooperation Japan can give to the state in the field of disaster management and anti-earthquake technology can be discussed in this direction. He said that cooperation will be taken from Japan for the Disaster Management Institute in Uttarakhand. There are many possibilities in the field of tourism, agriculture, horticulture in Uttarakhand. Continuous efforts are also being made by the state government to promote them.
CM said that what kind of cooperation can be taken from Japan in marketing by value addition of local products of Uttarakhand, attention should be paid to this. He said that if any delegation from Japan wants to come to Uttarakhand for information and other studies related to the local culture and cultural heritage of Uttarakhand, then they are welcome. Every possible cooperation will be given by the state for this. Said that Uttarakhand is a leading state in the field of Yoga, AYUSH, wellness tourism. Whatever cooperation Japan needs in these areas, it will be given.
