Uttar Pradesh : BJP candidate Raghuraj Shakya filed his nomination, reached Mulayam’s tomb first

On Wednesday, BJP candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya reached the Collectorate and filed his nomination in two sets for the Mainpuri Lok Sabha by-election. The BJP candidate filed his nomination after reaching the Collectorate along with the leaders of the district before the stipulated time. Earlier nomination was proposed with Deputy CM and State President, but suddenly the nomination was done before their arrival.

BJP has fielded Raghuraj Singh Shakya, a resident of Etawah, in the by-election for the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat, which fell vacant after the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav. On Wednesday, Raghuraj Singh Shakya was about to file his nomination at one o’clock in the afternoon along with Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and officials of Brij region, but suddenly Raghuraj Singh Shakya reached the collectorate at 11 o’clock in the morning with the leaders of the district. .

He filed his nomination papers in two sets to District Election Officer Avinash Krishna Singh. In this, former minister and BJP MLA from Bhogaon Ramnaresh Agrihotri and BJP district president Pradeep Singh Chauhan were proposers. Lok Sabha in-charge Dinesh Vashishtha, Brij region vice-president Alok Gupta and Mamta Rajput along with other BJP workers were present with him. Raghuraj Singh Shakya said that he is the son of a farmer and even after winning the election, he will serve them by being among all.

BJP said nomination was done earlier due to auspicious time
The BJP leaders told a different story when the nominations were made without the Deputy Chief Minister and the State President before the stipulated time. He said that due to the early auspicious time, he has filed two sets. The other two sets will be filed in the presence of the Deputy Chief Minister and the State President, but this thing did not go down well with anyone. And again Raghuraj Singh Shakya did not turn up to file other de-sets. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Choudhary were not involved in the nomination.

BJP candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya has been in the Samajwadi Party for a long time. He has been an MP from SP twice and has also been an MLA once. His closeness with Mulayam Singh Yadav is also evident to the world. Raghuraj Singh Shakya reached the Samadhi of Mulayam Singh Yadav, built at the fair ground in Saifai, before filing his nomination for the Mainpuri Lok Sabha by-election on Wednesday. He left for nomination after paying floral tributes.
