Uttarakhand : CM Dhami participated in sports and cultural fair in Tehri, gave a grant of Rs 02 lakh for the fair

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in sports and cultural fair at Kamptee on Tuesday. The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 02 lakh for this fair to be held in Kamptee. He said that for the planned development of Kamptee area, efforts would be made to make it a municipality.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while addressing the public meeting said that fairs have an important role in preserving the cultural heritage. Gauchar and Jauljivi fair are fairs of international importance in Uttarakhand. Kamptee area is an important area from the point of view of tourism. Continuous efforts are being made by the state government to promote tourism in the state. There are many possibilities in the state in the field of horticulture and hydropower projects. The Chief Minister said that the state government is making efforts to bring Uttarakhand in the category of best states of the country by 2025. With the cooperation of all the people of the state, Uttarakhand will be made a leading state in every field. He said that brainstorming is going on in the Chintan Shivir organized at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy in the direction of making Uttarakhand the leading state of the country. The officials have been asked to make a well planned plan for this. The good works being done in other states, officials have been instructed that according to the geographical conditions of Uttarakhand, some such works should be adopted as best practices in the state.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the country is making rapid progress in every field under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India’s respect, honor and self-respect has increased at the global level. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the land of Baba Kedar that the third decade of 21st century would be the decade of Uttarakhand. This time more than 50 lakh devotees visited the Chardham Yatra.

On this occasion, MLA Pritam Singh Panwar, Chairman of the sports function Virendra Singh Panwar, former Municipal Chairman of Mussoorie Manmohan Singh Mal, Block Chief Jaunpur Smt. Sita Rawat, Coordinator of Sports Committee Rajesh Nautiyal, District Magistrate Tehri Saurabh Gaharwar, SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar and Other dignitaries were present.
