The name of Ranbir-Alia’s daughter came to the fore, this member of Kapoor family named it
Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, who have become new parents, have revealed the name of their little princess. The couple welcomed the little angel into their lives on 6th November. Since then Ranbir-Alia are enjoying this new journey of parenthood with their daughter. His happiness is on the seventh sky with the arrival of the daughter.
Raha Kapoor named
For two weeks, the couple was thinking that what should be the name of the daughter. Alia had said that we do not want to be in any hurry in naming Little Angel. Finally, after listening to all the suggestions, both have finalized their daughter’s name. Alia Bhatt posted on Instagram that what the couple has named the daughter. Ranbir-Alia has named their daughter ‘Raha Kapoor’. At the same time, Alia also told that this name was given to her by her grandmother Neetu Kapoor.
Sharing the post of the name announcement, Alia wrote – This name Raha (chosen by her wise and amazing grandmother) has many beautiful meanings. Raha actually means divine path. In Swahili it means happy. In Sanskrit, Raha means one who increases the lineage. In Bengali – rest, comfort, relief, hai. Whereas in Arabic it means peace. The meaning of this name is also happiness, freedom and joy.
Aaliya further wrote – As soon as her name was mentioned, when we adopted her for the first time, we felt all the feelings. Thank you Raha, for giving life back to our family, it seems like our life has just begun.
Alia showed a glimpse
A photo has also been shared with the name Alia. In the blurred photo, the focus is on the Barcelona jersey hanging at the back. The name Raha is written on that dress with the UNICEF mark. This t-shirt and shorts in blue and red lining has been framed and mounted on the wall. In this photo, Ranbir-Alia, who are seen blurred, are standing holding their daughter. Although only the head of daughter Raha is visible, but the fans are considering it as the first glimpse.
