On the other side of Sector-18 Market, Atta Market in Sector-27 is known for its street shopping markets. Hundreds of people come here to buy goods during festivals and weekends. But now when you come to Atta market, the market will be seen empty. Apart from this, people shopping in the market will not be able to enjoy the delicious street food. In fact, taking action against encroachment, the Noida Authority has removed illegal stalls from the 2.5 meter wide and 600 meter long footpath of Atta Market. Action is being taken from the government level to remove encroachment from the market.

Goods of shopkeepers seized
This campaign of Noida Authority is going on for the last 2 days. During this, encroachment has been removed on a large scale in the presence of top officials of the authority. During this, top officers and heavy police force remained deployed. Despite warnings from the authority, the goods of shopkeepers who installed ready-made tracks have been confiscated. The authority warned that legal action would be taken against the shopkeeper concerned if shops were set up on this route again. Please inform that Atta Bazar is in front of Sector-18. There is heavy encroachment at the metro gate here. Due to which the people coming and going have problems.

Notice issued against encroachment
Noida Authority Senior Officer Officer Indu Prakash said that if the operators of any multi-storey market try to become a hindrance in removing the encroachment, then strict action will be taken against them. Henceforth, a notice of encroachment will be issued against the market where street vendors will be found on the footpath outside. He said that the people setting up shop on the footpath have been given space near the Botanical Garden since last one year but despite that the shopkeepers are illegally setting up shop in the Atta market. Due to setting up of illegal market here, there were frequent complaints of traffic. For this reason this action was taken by the Work Circle.

Operators used to charge huge amount
Authority Work Circle Officer Vijay Rawal told that earlier the drive was done in Brahmaputra Complex. Later drive to Atta. This process will go on continuously so that the encroachment in the markets can be completely ended. This fact came to the fore while cleaning the footpath. The street market is being operated on the footpath by the multi-storey market operators. A huge amount is being collected from their side only. Top officials have been informed about this. Encroachment will be cleared from DSC Road permanently, it has been instructed. JCB, dumper and more than 20 authority personnel were involved in this campaign.
