Uttar Pradesh : Child missing from Agra found in Vrindavan, police’s promptness worked
On Tuesday evening, the kidnapped innocent playing in front of the house from Touratha of Shahganj in Agra was safely recovered by the police from Vrindavan area of Mathura on Wednesday midnight. Police got the clue of the kidnapper with the help of internet media. On the basis of which the suspect was caught late on Wednesday night. On strictly questioning him, he confessed to kidnapping the innocent in the middle of the night. Told that he had left the innocent at a house in Vrindavan, Mathura. On the tip of the kidnapper, the police raided Vrindavan and recovered the innocent. As soon as the news of the child’s arrival was received, a wave of happiness ran in the family. Mother Mithilesh and grandmother Kanta Devi’s eyes lit up with happiness. The family members kept awake till Thursday morning waiting for Mayank to come home.
The child was picked up from outside the house
Jai Prakash, a resident of Satyam Nagar, Murli Vihar, Shahganj, has a shop selling groceries. He along with his mother Kanta Devi had come to his maternal grandmother on Tuesday to visit number two. Jai Prakash was accompanied by his wife Mithilesh and both children Nishant and Mayank. Mayank was kidnapped while playing outside the house by a youth on Tuesday evening. Police and relatives were busy in search of the innocent. More than 50 people of the colony were also searching for the innocent.
Some youths have identified
Relatives and police had received CCTV footage of the kidnapper. In which he was seen carrying the child in his lap. The relatives had circulated the footage of the kidnapper in the internet media. Relatives told that on Wednesday late night he got a call from some youths. He told that the face of the person who kidnapped the innocent is very similar to the young man who had come to his relative’s place in Azampada. The youth was missing since Tuesday evening. He returned on Wednesday night.
The story on the strictness of the police
The relatives immediately informed the police about this. Police caught the accused from Azampada area. When his face was matched with the footage, it was identical. When the police interrogated him, the accused kept trying to mislead. On which the police showed strictness, then the accused accepted the kidnapping of the innocent. Police and relatives were worried about untoward incident with the innocent. The accused informed about innocent Mayank being safe. Told the police that he had dropped innocent Mayank at a house in Vrindavan, Mathura. People could be suspicious of his sudden disappearance like this. Due to which he returned here the very next day. Police recovered the innocent from Vrindavan at the behest of the accused.
Innocent Mayank was in bad condition crying without his parents. He was insisting on going home. Had fallen asleep insisting on going to his parents. Mayank’s uncle Rahul along with the police reached the said house at midnight. After recovering the innocent, the police woke him up. As soon as he saw his uncle in front, the innocent man hugged him badly. He was not getting off from uncle Rahul’s lap. He was horrified.
