Policemen took position, before the arrival of the groom, the bride’s village became a cantonment

In UP’s Sambhal district, before seven rounds, the police force reached the village of the girl’s side in large numbers. A team of 13 sub-inspectors and 59 policemen took their respective positions. Within no time, the entire village turned into a camp. When the bridegroom arrived with the wedding procession, he was stunned. In fact, in village Lohamai of Junavai police station area, people of Yadav fraternity were apprehensive of stopping the procession of daughter of Valmiki Samaj, due to which the village was converted into a cantonment from Friday afternoon itself. Along with police deployment at 10 points, the police force was deployed in front-back and right-left of the procession. In such a situation, the procession reached the house of the daughter of Valmiki Samaj with music and music.

The marriage procession of Raveena, daughter of Raju Valmiki, resident of village Lohamai of police station area, reached Patisa village of Islamnagar police station area in Badaun district on Friday evening. Due to apprehension that people of Yadav fraternity would not allow the procession to take place in the village, the police was kept ready since afternoon. In the late evening, the bridegroom Ramkishan arrived with a procession along with family and relatives. In the late evening, the procession ceremony was started in the presence of heavy police force. Ten police duty points were made in the village. Policemen and women policemen were deployed along with a sub-inspector at all the points. Apart from this, one team of police was prepared in front and behind the procession and one team each on the right and left of the procession. The police force remained ready in the village till the procession was over late at night.

The village was converted into a cantonment at 12 noon due to the apprehension of opposition from the people of the Yadav community to the procession in village Lohamai of Junwai area. Police Station President Pushkar Mehra along with 13 sub-inspectors, one female sub-inspector, 33 constables and 11 female constables remained ready till the procession was over. Police Station President Pushkar Mehra blessed Valmiki’s daughter by giving a neg of 11 thousand in her marriage.

The procession of Valmiki Samaj was not allowed to enter the village

On May 7, 2021, the marriage procession of Rajni, daughter of Mahendra Valmiki, resident of village Lohamai, had come from village Ramnagar Tappa Vaish. The people of the Yadav community did not allow the procession to take place in the village. After that, on May 5, 2022, Mahendra Valmiki’s younger daughter Babita went to the procession from village Chaupa in Bahjoi area. This time also the people of the Yadav community had stopped the procession. On the information of stopping the marriage procession, the police station had reached the spot and late in the night in the presence of the police force, the marriage ceremony was completed. This time also the people of Valmiki community had apprehension that the people of Yadav fraternity would not allow their daughter’s procession to enter the village. This time, due to the strictness of the police, the procession went up with pride.
