West Bengal : Shubhendu Adhikari compared Mamata Banerjee to Kim Jong-un

Within 48 hours of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s first goodwill meeting in the Assembly in two years, Leader of the Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari on Sunday compared her rule with that of North Korea’s Kim Jong-un and attacked her. spoke.

In a BJP program organized for the live telecast of Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat at Nandigram in East Medinipur district, Shubhendu alleged that the government was ‘continually trying to implicate him in false cases’. “I will release a list of these allegations in the form of a booklet on Tuesday,” he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that Shubhendu, who was once considered the right hand of Mamata Banerjee, had defeated the West Bengal CM in Nandigram seat in last year’s assembly elections.

Mamta accused

Shubhendu said, “Only after the last assembly elections, false cases are being filed against me continuously.” The BJP leader said that the Chief Minister would visit Delhi on December 5. But even before he reaches there, ‘I will tell the President, the Vice President, the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister how Mamta is ruling Bengal like North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un’.

He further said, “I will send the list of cases filed against me to everyone.” Shubhendu along with a party MLA had met him in the chief minister’s room in the assembly last Friday.

After that it was called a goodwill meeting from both sides. But after that, on Saturday itself, Shubhendu launched a scathing attack on the Mamta Banerjee government in a meeting organized on the issue of the Citizenship Act (CAA).

After Shubhendu’s statement, Trinamool Congress MLA Akhil Giri has said that it has become the main task of the Leader of the Opposition to do bad propaganda against the Chief Minister.
