‘The Kashmir Files’ was called vulgar propaganda in India’s most prestigious film festival, actors gave this reaction
Director Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is among the top 4 highest grossing films of this year. It surprised by doing business of 341 crores. This film is once again in discussions. A statement by Navad Lapid, a jury member of the International Film Festival of India, has sparked controversy. Israeli filmmaker Navad Lapid says ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a vulgar propaganda. There has been a controversy over this statement given from the public platform. Actor Anupam Kher, who plays a key role in the film, seems particularly annoyed.
Anupam Kher and Ashok Pandit expressed displeasure
Anupam Kher wrote in a tweet that ‘no matter how high the height of a lie is, it is always small in comparison to the truth’. After Anupam Kher, film maker Ashok Pandit also gave his opinion in this matter. Said that the appointment of Navad Lapid as a jury of IIFI was the biggest mistake by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Action should be taken against those who are responsible for this crime in the ministry. What can one expect from a sympathizer of Palestine.

IIFI Jury Navad Lapid has given this statement
Let us tell you that at the IFFI ceremony being held in Panaji, Goa, Israeli filmmaker Navad Lapit said that we are all worried. This film looks like a propaganda, a porn film to us. ‘The Kashmir Files’ does not seem appropriate for a big event like the International Film Festival of India. I am not at all uncomfortable in putting my point in front of everyone. This is a very important thing which should be said without any hesitation.
In response to this, Ashok Pandit said in his tweet that Israeli filmmaker Navad Lapit has made fun of India’s war against terrorism by calling the film The Kashmir Files vulgar. He has insulted 7 lakh Kashmiri Pandits which is shameful. Targeting Lapid, he said how the massacre of 3 lakh Kashmiri Hindus can be vulgar.

Vivek Agnahotri’s film depicts the massacre of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Prakash Belawadi, Anupam Kher, Puneet Issar and Chinmay Mundelkar in lead roles. The film was trolled fiercely since its release. However, it did well at the box office.
