Uttarakhand: Sparsh Himalaya Festival 2024 concluded at Writer’s Village, Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat attended

Sparsh Himalaya Mahotsav 2024, organized at Lekhak Gaon in Thano area, has concluded today. Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. Meanwhile, he released more than 15 books and expressed thanks for the establishment of ‘Lekhak Gaon’ to encourage literary talents.

Little writers from more than 65 countries participated in the program

Sparsh Himalaya Mahotsav 2024 was inaugurated on 25 October. The program was inaugurated by former President Ram Nath Kovind. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Governor Gurmeet Singh and lyricist Prasoon Joshi attended the occasion. Litterateurs from more than 65 countries participated in the festival. A unique view of literature, art and culture was seen in the program.

Various people attended the closing program

RNTU Chancellor Santosh Choubey, Union Minister Ajay Tamta, Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri, former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Parmarth Niketan President Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj attended the closing program of Sparsh Himalaya Mahotsav-2024. Apart from this, all the people in the program gave the message of environmental protection by planting trees.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj praised Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank

Paramarth Niketan President Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj said that former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has made the ‘Diwali of Books’ of knowledge and creation a reality even before Diwali. Apart from this, he also praised the ‘Sparsh Ganga’ initiative started by former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
