Uttarakhand : All three accused in Ankita Bhandari murder case will have narco test
Narco test will be done for the accused in the Ankita murder case. Only after the narco test, the SIT will file its charge sheet regarding the Ankita murder case in the court. ADG Law and Order Dr. V Murugesan told that all aspects are being closely looked into in this matter including the report related to the forensic lab. Regarding the Ankita murder case, on the one hand, there is continuous fierce politics in the state. At the same time, the demand for narco test to CBI inquiry is also being strongly raised in this matter. Despite the passage of more than two months after the incident, many questions are being raised on the police department regarding the non-filing of the charge sheet in the court. At the same time, in this case, the SIT has now decided to conduct narco test of the accused. The charge sheet will be submitted in the court only after the narco test of the accused.
What is narco test
Narco-analysis test is also called narco test. The help of this test is taken in the investigation of criminal cases. Narco test is a Deception Detection Test, in which category polygraph and brain-mapping test also come. Narco test can be of great help in finding the truth and evidence related to the crime. A team of experts is deployed to conduct the narco test. Security agencies investigate only under the supervision of this team. Only after passing this test, the accused is taken for narco test. Various types of monitors etc. are used to see the condition of the person during the test.
What is the matter
Please tell that 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari was a receptionist at Vanantra resort located in Yamkeshwar block of Pauri district. This resort belonged to Pulkit Arya, the younger son of senior BJP leader Vinod Arya. It is alleged that Pulkit Arya had pressurized Ankita Bhandari to do wrong things with the customers coming to the resort, but Ankita Bhandari flatly refused to do so and had also decided to quit the job. There was also a debate between Ankita Bhandari and Pulkit Arya regarding this matter. Pulkit Arya was afraid that Ankita would expose him and the immoral activities happening in the resort. For this reason, late in the evening of 18 September, after an argument, Pulkit took Ankita out of the resort on the pretext of work and killed her by pushing her into the Chilla canal near Rishikesh. In this heinous act of Pulkit Arya, his two managers Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta supported him. Ankita’s body was found on 24 September from Chilla canal. The police had arrested the three accused on 23 September. After this, the curtain was lifted from this whole incident. Right now all the three accused are lodged in Pauri jail.
