Uttarakhand : CM Dhami participated in the program organized for the disabled, said this on Uniform Civil Code

On the occasion of World Disabled Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a program organized for the disabled in Dehradun. During this, the Chief Minister also made many announcements regarding the disabled. The Chief Minister said that the government is working on many schemes to connect the disabled with the mainstream. The talents of the disabled are being seen in every field. The government has also increased his honorarium. The CM has also made four big announcements for the disabled during this period. The grant amount given to Divyangjans for artificial limbs has been increased from Rs.3,500 to Rs.7,000. Simplifying the Divyang Pension Scheme, all Divyang were made eligible for Jan Pension. 5 percent relaxation was given in the passing marks in the examinations. The state level prize money of officers employing persons with disabilities has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000.

Regarding the extension of 6 months for the committee constituted for Uniform Civil Code Craft, the Chief Minister has said that Uttarakhand is a state with odd geographical conditions and the committee needed additional time to make a strong law. Every region, every class of the committee state. Reached the person of every society. That’s why additional time of 6 months has been given and soon an effective law will be in front of everyone.

On the law passed by the Uttarakhand government regarding conversion from the Vidhan Sabha, the Chief Minister says that it was being seen on a large scale in the state that people belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes were being converted by greed and giving answers. With the coming of this law, all such activities will be banned and strict action will be taken against such people.
