Uttarakhand : In Chamoli Bolero vehicle accident, two killed, three injured admitted to hospital

In Uttarakhand, an accident took place late on Sunday night on the Gopeshwar Ghingharan motorway in Chamoli district. In which two people have died and three injured are hospitalized.

According to the information, the above accident took place near the Bataleshwar temple on the Gopeshwar Ghingharan motorway. Where two people died in a Bolero vehicle accident on Sunday night, while three people were injured.

Accident near Bataleshwar Temple, Roli-Gwad
Police Station Gopeshwar and Kotwali Chamoli received information that a vehicle had met with an accident near Batleshwar Temple, Roli-Gwad (Ghighandrad Road).

Uncontrolled Bolero vehicle fell down the road
On the said information, when the police force from Police Station Gopeshwar and Kotwali Chamoli reached the spot, Bolero vehicle number UK-11-TA-8055 went uncontrolled and fell down the road. In which five people were aboard. Out of which one person died on the spot and one died during treatment in the hospital. Three injured are undergoing treatment at the district hospital, Gopeshwar.

Names of the dead and injured in the accident
In the accident Rohit s/o Paan Singh aged 32 years resident of Nail Kudav police station Chamoli died on the spot and Santosh s/o Vijay Singh resident Shail Kudav died at Karnprayag while being taken to Srinagar base hospital. Mukesh, Manoj and other passengers are injured in the accident.

Truck falls into ditch in Rishikesh, two injured
A truck fell into a gorge near Vyasi on the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway late Sunday night. Police and SDRF team rescued the injured driver and operator out of the ditch and sent them to the hospital.

SDRF was informed late on Sunday night by police post Vyasi that a truck had fallen into a ditch 200 meters ahead of the post. On the said information, the rescue team from SDRF post Vyasi immediately left for the spot with necessary rescue equipment.

Station in-charge Inspector Munikireti Ritesh Shah said that after reaching the spot three kilometers ahead of Vyasi, the SDRF team along with the outpost police saw that a truck had fallen 10 meters below the road. In which the driver and conductor were aboard.

Both of them were carrying cement from Rishikesh to Chamoli, but on the way the vehicle lost control and went down the road. The SDRF team immediately rescued the injured Deepak Kumar and Sunil Singh, both residents of Nagnath Pokhari police station, Pokhri district, Rudraprayag and sent them to the hospital through 108.

Resentment among the villagers due to non-construction of dilapidated lake road
Local residents are facing problems due to dilapidated road in Jheelwala area of Barkot Gram Panchayat. A year back, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had announced the construction of this road. Despite that, the construction work of this road has not yet started. Due to which the villagers are angry.

Due to Jheelwala Marg being in a very bad condition, the passengers are getting injured every day. While traveling through this route at night is even more risky.
