The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a commercial supervisor of the commerce department at Lalkua railway station for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 7,000.

An official said that the CBI arrested Rajendra Tomar, Commercial Supervisor, Railway Commercial Department. The arrested accused will be produced in the court tomorrow. The CBI has taken the accused to Dehradun.

According to the information received from the CBI, the accused Rajendra Tomar had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 7000 from the complainant Rajesh Paswan, a resident of Bareilly, for the transportation of goods, while the complainant said that The accused had demanded Rs 7,000 from him for transporting the goods.
