Uttarakhand : Inauguration of All India Police Archery Championship, CM Dhami said – after 11 years now recruitment will be done through sports quota
The 11th All India Police Archery Championship organized by the Uttarakhand Police began on Wednesday. Chief guest Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and DGP Ashok Kumar inaugurated the championship. Players from different states welcomed the guests with a march past. Players from 26 states are participating in the championship. It also includes players from Jammu and Kashmir. The audience welcomed the players with thunderous applause in this championship organized in Police Line. The whole stadium is packed with spectators.

DGP Ashok Kumar requested the CM that the recruitment through sports quota is closed since 2011. Because of which the police players are bringing less gold medals. He demanded to open the recruitment process from this quota. He said that a police has been formed on which work has to be done soon.
And the CM congratulated all the players. During this, he said that recruitment through sports quota will be started soon. After 11 years, the recruitment process will start from the sports quota. Recruitment from sports quota was closed since 2011. The CM has now said that the recruitment will be started soon.
