Uttarakhand : Dhami government’s gift on Victory Day, decorated soldiers and brave women will be able to travel free in roadways buses

On the occasion of Vijay Diwas, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to the martyrs by offering a wreath at the martyr’s memorial. On this occasion, CM Dhami honored ex-servicemen, heroic women by covering them with shawls and giving mementos. Apart from this, he announced that the construction work of martyr gates/memorials in Uttarakhand will now be done through the Sainik Welfare Department. Earlier it was done through the Culture Department. At the same time, soldiers and brave women decorated with the Veerta Chakra series will also get free travel facility (soldiers get free tickets) in the buses of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami described Vijay Diwas as the day of indomitable courage, bravery and bravery of the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. He said that on this day in the year 1971, more than 93,000 soldiers of Pakistan had surrendered before our brave soldiers. This war was a direct example of the unwavering determination and sacrifice of the heroes of India, which was the biggest self-dedication of any army after the Second World War. In the Indo-Pak war of 1971, 255 soldiers of Veer Bhoomi Uttarakhand sacrificed their lives to protect Mother India. 74 soldiers of the state, who showed their indomitable courage and bravery in the war, were honored with various gallantry medals. The immortal stories of the sacrifice of all such heroes serve to inspire our youth even today.

Military base is being prepared in Dehradun

CM Dhami said that according to the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the construction of Sainya Dham in Dehradun has been started by laying the foundation of the fifth Dham in the state. This memorial is a humble tribute to all those heroes who sacrificed their lives for the glory of the tricolor and for the protection of the nation, regardless of their lives. This military base will serve as a divine inspiration for nation worship for generations to come.

CM Dhami said that every possible facility is being given to the army under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today the soldiers are equipped with state-of-the-art weapons, world-class equipment is being provided for their assistance and protection. PM Modi has described the third decade of 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand. As a result of which more than 46 lakh devotees came in Chardham Yatra this year. The state government has resolved that on completion of 25 years of the establishment of the state, it will make Uttarakhand the best state in the country.

Being born in a military family saw the struggle of soldiers from close quarters

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that being born in a military family, he himself has closely seen the struggle and pain of military families. The state government is making special schemes for military families, so that a soldier does not have to worry about his family while fighting in the war.

Soldiers and dependents will get appointment on the basis of preference in jobs

The state government has decided to increase the grant amount received by the soldiers or their dependents and to give appointment to the dependents of the martyred soldiers on the basis of preference in the jobs under the state government. The state government is also trying to increase the number of Sainik rest houses. At the same time, Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the soldiers of the army are sitting on the front to protect the country in every situation. In the year 1971 Indo Pak War (Indo Pak War 1971), many soldiers of the state of Uttarakhand sacrificed their lives to protect Mother India. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state government is working day and night for the welfare of the soldiers. The long standing demand of One Rank One Pension was fulfilled only under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. The state government is working to build a huge military shrine in honor of the martyrs. Along with this, the state government has decided that the main gate of the military base will be named after Veer Saput of Uttarakhand and the country’s first CDS General Bipin Rawat.
