Youth of Uttarakhand should be ready, one thousand posts will be recruited in this department

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced the recruitment of one thousand new posts in Uttarakhand. He said that in the year 2023, there will be new recruitment on one thousand posts of police constable. Till the recruitment of 1521 police constables whose recruitment process is in progress, 1521 PRD jawans will give temporary service.

The Chief Minister made this announcement at the inauguration of a program organized on the topic ‘Uttarakhand Police Manthan Challenges and Solutions’ at the police headquarters. He said that cyber police stations would be opened in Almora and Srinagar women’s police station in view of the fast growing cyber crime.

The Chief Minister said that the officers must pick up the calls of the public. Officers should include this in their habit. If an officer is busy in a meeting and is receiving a call, then call the said number later and get the information.

Need to pay special attention to fitness to make police smart and empowered

Chief Minister Dhami said that there is a need to pay special attention to fitness to make the Uttarakhand Police smart and empowered. He hoped that in this four-day churning of the Uttarakhand Police, there would also be a churning on matters related to the strengthening of law and order in the state and public concerns.

This will also help in better coordination between the police and the public. He said that more attention would be given to modern technology for modernization of police. Police will treat law abiding people like ‘friendly police’. If someone tries to disturb the law and order, strict action will be taken against him.

People coming from outside and living here are being verified continuously. Strict action will also be taken against those involved in corruption. It is a challenge for the government to give strict punishment to the criminals

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the High Court has upheld the SIT’s investigation in the Vanantara Resort case. He said that we welcome the decision of the court. The big challenge before the government is that the culprits get the strictest punishment. A strong charge sheet has been presented by the SIT in the court. The government is continuously monitoring the case.

More than 45 thousand registrations on Gaura Shakti App

Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi said that so far more than 45 thousand registrations have been done on the Gaura Shakti app for women’s safety. This is being regularly monitored. Efforts are being made to increase the percentage of conviction in crimes against women and children. Continuous efforts are being made to make Uttarakhand a drug-free state and to stop beggary.
