The health department is fully prepared for the new variant of COVID-19, said Health Secretary Dr. R.K. He first took stock of the PSA Oxygen Plant, where he inspected the oxygen pressure, oxygen purity in the plant, as well as inspected the medical gas manifold room, gas store. The Emergency Ward was inspected by the Health Secretary, taking stock of the oxygen concentrator and other equipment, directed the concerned officials to maintain quality during treatment.

On corona vaccination, the health secretary said that people are being motivated to take booster dose in the state. We have sent an additional demand for the vaccine to the Government of India, which will be forwarded to the districts on receipt.
