According to the latest information, cricketer Rishabh Pant has been referred from Roorkee to Dehradun. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the officials to ensure all possible arrangements for proper treatment of Rishabh Pant. Wishing Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery, the Chief Minister said that all the expenses of his treatment would be borne by the state government. If an air ambulance is required, it should also be arranged.

Where did Pant get hurt?

According to the agency report, Rishabh Pant’s BMW car collided with the road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway, due to which the accident took place. Sources close to 25-year-old Rishabh Pant said that the cricketer, who was on his way home in Roorkee, was taken to a local hospital after the accident. He told that Pant has suffered injuries on his head, back and legs, but his condition is stable. The source further added that Pant himself was driving the car when it hit the divider at the Delhi Narsan border. He was immediately taken to Saksham Hospital, Delhi Road, but will be taken to Max Hospital for further treatment.

Significantly, Pant has been kept out of the upcoming series against Sri Lanka as he was to join the NCA for an event ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to be held in February. He played a big role in India’s victory in the two-Test series against Bangladesh.
