Pakistan is running trains with oil reserves of only three days.

Only one day’s oil left

According to the news going on in the Pakistani media, the officials of the Railway Department have also appealed to the Railway Minister Khwaja Saad Rafiq to solve this matter, but no step has been taken on their side. A Pakistan Railways official also said that the railway minister should also look into the bidding matters of freight wagons. that affect the private sector. It is also being told that a few days ago the stock of oil was left for only one day. Due to which the railway authorities were forced to reduce the operation of goods trains especially from Karachi and Lahore.

Getting salary after 20-25 days

Along with this, the employees of the Railway Department are not getting their salary and allowances. With this, a liability of around Rs 25 billion is left in the form of gratuity for many employees who have retired in the last one year. The situation has worsened to such an extent that the employees are being paid their salaries after 20-25 days and the last month’s salary is yet to be received. After which many employees including train drivers have warned to go on strike if the situation does not improve.
