Uttarakhand : CM Dhami appealed for peace, said – Haldwani encroachment case is going on between the railway and the court, there is no involvement of the government

The Supreme Court has put a stay on the order of the High Court to remove encroachment from the railway land in Haldwani. Regarding which politics is also going on in the state. In the matter, CM Pushkar Dhami says that some people are creating an atmosphere against the government due to their politics of protest. The government will work according to the Supreme Court. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami says that the state government will work as per the order of the Supreme Court after the Supreme Court’s decision in the matter of encroachment on Vanbhulpura railway land in Haldwani. This matter is going on between the Railways and the court. The government is nowhere in this. Due to their politics of opposition, some people have tried to create such an atmosphere that everything is being done by the government. We appeal to all to maintain peace and calm.
Actually, the leaders of BJP and Congress are telling the decision of the Supreme Court as a humanitarian decision. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat has also termed the decision of the Supreme Court as a big judgement. Harish Rawat has said that the Supreme Court has given the Supreme Court considering the human face, but Harish Rawat has besieged the BJP government in the matter of encroachment. They say that when the occupation is being done, it should be seen at that time. He has accused the BJP minister of illegal occupation.
Supreme Court banned
The Supreme Court stayed the order to remove encroachment on railway land in Haldwani. Earlier, the High Court had given orders to remove the encroachments. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the state government and the Railways. The court said that how can you ask to vacate the house within 7 days without finding a solution? Now the matter will now be heard on February 7.
What is the matter
Actually, there has been encroachment on railway land in Haldwani. Where more than 4300 houses have been built. To vacate them, the Railways had filed a petition in the Uttarakhand High Court. While hearing the petition, the Uttarakhand High Court had ordered the Railways to remove the encroachment on December 20, 2022. After which the Railways issued a public notice to vacate the encroachment. Therefore, seven days time was given to remove the encroachment itself.
At the same time, the railway had said in its notice that all unauthorized encroachments on railway land between Haldwani railway station 82.900 km to 87.710 km would be demolished. At the same time, on January 2, this order of the High Court was filed by 11 people including Sharafat Khan of Haldwani on behalf of senior lawyer advocate Salman Khurshid. On which a hearing was held in the Supreme Court today.
