Pandit Chirendra Krishna Shastri, the priest of Bageshwar Dham, who used social media fiercely and became famous in a short time, is once again in the midst of controversies. The controversy this time is about proving the miraculous and divine powers. In fact, an organization of Maharashtra had challenged the program organized by him in Nagpur that Baba should prove his powers in front of everyone. After which Dhirendra Krishna Shastri ran away leaving the program in Nagpur. The Blind Faith Eradication Committee has also talked about registering a case with the police. The committee has requested that if Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has any such power then prove it otherwise action will be taken against him. The committee alleged That Baba has run away fearing this challenge and being exposed in front of the people and he has been exposed.

The story of Dhirendra Krishna Shastri was happening in Nagpur, Maharashtra. A court was also to be held there but only then member of the Ashradha Nirmulan Samiti and famous activist Pvt. Shyam Manav challenged Dhirendra Krishna Shastri to prove his claim of miraculous powers. The members of the committee alleged that Dhirendra Krishna Shastri did not accept the claim and ran away. On the other hand, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri told in his clarification yesterday on January 16 that he does not have any miraculous power and he cannot tell anyone’s future. If the members of the Superstition Eradication Committee want to challenge, they can come to Bageshwar Dham. On the allegation of running away from Nagpur, he has said that he had a program in Nagpur for the same number of days, that is why he has returned and has not come running away. Attacking the committee, he has said that when he was present there, was his father dead or was he wearing bangles in his hands, when the elephant walks, the dogs bark.

The Superstition Eradication Committee is talking about registering an FIR as per the “The Drugs and Magic Remedies” Act, which is applicable in Maharashtra. An FIR can be lodged against Dhirendra Krishna Shastri soon. The people of the committee have also alleged that till the time it comes to the notice of the police, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has fled from Nagpur. In the past, the country’s Transport Minister and former Maharashtra Chief Minister and present Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also reached the program organized in Nagpur.
