Uttarakhand: CM Dhami performed Yagyopaveet Sanskar of both sons in Haridwar

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami got his two sons Diwakar and Prabhakar Dhami performed Yagyopaveet Sanskar in Haridwar today. The sacrificial ceremony was performed by Teerth Purohit Sanjay and Shagun Bhagat. The program was kept very secret. Only CM Dhami and his wife Geeta Dhami as well as his mother were involved in the program. Acharya Balkrishna also appeared in the program along with CM Dhami. At the same time, none of the BJP leaders got any inkling of the programme. Even the media was not aware of this.

CM Dhami’s program kept secret

It may be noted that the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami along with his family, reached Haridwar secretly on late Friday night. The sacrificial rituals of his younger sons Diwakar Dhami and Prabhakar Dhami were performed here this morning at Ganga Ghat. Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali Yogpeeth also accompanied Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on this occasion. During this, only the people of the house participated in the program.

Chief Minister Dhami left for Dehradun after completing the sacrificial rituals of both the sons. However, none of the BJP leaders, office bearers and even the media got any inkling of the Chief Minister’s visit to Haridwar.

Yagyopaveet rites of both sons of CM Dhami

On getting the information, an officer associated with the protocol expressed ignorance about it. According to information received from sources, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh reached Damkothi No. 3 of Haridwar late last night along with Dhami family. This program of the Chief Minister was kept very confidential. Whose information was not given to any BJP leader or the supporters of the Chief Minister.

This morning, at the ghat of Dam Kothi, Sanjay and Shagun Bhagat, the pilgrimage priests of Haridwar, performed the sacrificial ceremony of the two sons of the Chief Minister, Diwakar and Prabhakar Dhami, with complete rituals. On this occasion Geeta Pushkar Dhami as well as Chief Minister’s mother was also with him.
