Uttarakhand: Budget session to be held in summer capital Gairsain, government seeks suggestions from people till February 27
Uttarakhand’s Finance and Parliamentary Minister Premchand Aggarwal said that the budget session will be held in the summer capital Gairsain. Suggestions have been sought from people till February 27 to prepare the budget. Better suggestions related to the development of the state will be included in the budget. In the BJP state office, Finance Minister Premchand Aggarwal said that the state is getting the benefit of the double engine government of the BJP. Uttarakhand has also been taken care of in the Union Budget. Uttarakhand will get special benefits from the provisions made in the budget. The state’s share in central taxes has increased by 25 percent.
Last year the state’s share in central taxes was about 9130 crores, which will now be about 11428 crores. The interest free loan given to the states for 50 years has been extended for one year. Aggarwal told that the government has sought suggestions from the people on the budget. In this, suggestions can be sent through e-mail, WhatsApp. Apart from this, suggestions will be taken by interacting with businessmen, entrepreneurs, senior citizens regarding the budget.
