Uttarakhand: SIT investigation of Patwari paper leak will be under the supervision of HC judge, youth will end the strike?

On Thursday, many members, including the president of the unemployed union, Bobby Panwar, who were sitting on a dharna in Gandhi Park, were arrested and sent to jail. Many sections including Section 307 have been imposed on Bobby Panwar. Bobby is sent to jail. On the other hand, on Friday once again the students of the unemployed union sat on a dharna at the martyr’s memorial. These people also got the support of the Bar Association.
Bobby Panwar, president of the unemployed union, will be released
From morning to night, all the youth sitting on dharna remained adamant on their demands. During this, a delegation of youth including the President of the Bar Association met the District Magistrate. The District Magistrate held talks with the government. After this, the government has agreed to some of the demands of the youth. On Friday, 13 youths, including the president of the unemployed union, Bobby Panwar, will be released on bail.
Patwari paper leak will be investigated under the supervision of retired High Court judge
Examinations will be investigated by forming a committee under the chairmanship of a retired High Court judge regarding the examination rigging across the state. After which some youths suspended the picketing, while the picketing of 20 to 25 young men and women continued. For the young men and women who postponed the picket, the district administration arranged a bus till ISBT.
There will be no CBI inquiry into the paper leak
District Magistrate Sonika told that considering all the demands of the unemployed union seriously, the state government has taken action on various points. The state government will conduct the SIT investigation of the Patwari recruitment paper leak case under the supervision of a High Court judge. The demand for CBI inquiry has been rejected by the Uttarakhand High Court. The High Court has already said that the investigation is going well. That’s why the CBI inquiry into the matter was not conducted.
New question paper for Patwari recruitment has been created
One of the demands of the agitating youth was to change the question paper in Patwari recruitment. The Public Service Commission has already clarified that the question paper for the Patwari exam to be held on February 12 has been prepared afresh. The strict anti-copying ordinance has been approved. The Controller of Examinations of the State Public Service Commission has been removed.
Uttarakhand unemployed union’s strike ends
On the other hand, the youth say that the government has fulfilled some of our demands. A new strategy will be chalked out against the examination rigging across the state after Bobby Panwar, president of the unemployed union, was granted bail on Saturday. The protesting youth say that for the time being the strike has been postponed from our side. However, the picket was ended by the police and administration.
