Elon Musk has no rent money left! 2 offices in India locked, employees will work from home

Taking a big decision, Twitter has closed 2 of its 3 offices in India and asked its employees to work from home. Cost cutting continues the mission of CEO Elon Musk to reduce all kinds of costs in the company, through which he is trying to reduce the company’s expenses. In this episode, he has locked the office of Twitter located in Delhi and Mumbai.

In fact, ever since Elon Musk acquired Twitter in October-November last year, Elon Musk has been taking many quick decisions including retrenchment. These include the decision to vacate Twitter’s offices around the world.

Work is going on only from Bangalore office
Quoting people aware of the matter, news agency Bloomberg told that Twitter has closed its offices in Delhi and Mumbai. The company is operating out of an office in the southern tech hub of Bengaluru, which houses mostly engineers. People associated with this development said, it is not being identified as the information is private. Twitter fired 90 percent of its more than 200 employees in India during the layoffs at the end of last year.

Office things have also been auctioned
Auctioned off some of the San Francisco HQ items. In this auction, 631 items including sofas, chairs, decorative items and kitchen appliances have been placed in the Twitter office. According to Heritage Global Partners Services, the Twitter Bird Statue was sold at an online auction for $100,000 (Rs 81,25,000). A 10-foot-tall neon light has been auctioned for $40,000.
