In connection with the preparations and arrangements being made for the successful conduct of the Kedarnath Dham Yatra under the year-2023 Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra, in the meeting with the concerned officials in the district office NIC room under the chairmanship of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee Ajendra Ajay. Reviews were done. Chairman Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee told the concerned officials that the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be opened for the devotees on April 25, 2023. He has given instructions to the concerned officials that whatever arrangements and preparations are being made for the smooth and successful conduct of the yatra, all the necessary preparations should be completed before April 15, 2023. He has also given instructions that the work of removing snow on the Kedarnath Yatra route should be started at a rapid pace and the repair work of all the roads that are damaged should also be completed at the earliest. He has also instructed that proper training should also be provided to all the officers and employees who are deployed for editing the Kedarnath Yatra arrangements so that there is no problem in operating the Yatra arrangements. Proper parking and traffic plan should be prepared for the traffic arrangements during the Yatra and proper training should be provided to the police personnel to be deployed in the security arrangements and proper health facilities, cleanliness arrangements, adequate toilets should be provided along the Yatra route including Kedarnath Dham. Instructions were given to keep proper arrangements for arrangement and proper water arrangements for horses and mules and electricity arrangements etc. on the travel route.

In the meeting, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has informed that proper training is being provided to the officers and personnel deployed for the successful conduct of Kedarnath Yatra and complete information is being provided about the responsibilities and tasks assigned to them so that the Yatra can be conducted smoothly. There should not be any problem in the system. He said that whatever level of preparations and arrangements have to be made for the success of the Yatra, all the departments are completing their respective preparations by giving necessary instructions to all. He said that to make the Kedarnath Yatra route smooth, instructions have been given to start the snow removal work from tomorrow itself and the DDMA has been instructed to fix the damaged road in the places where there is no snow at present. went. He has also informed that 20 PRD jawans have been deployed to monitor that there should be no cruelty to horses and mules on the yatra route and that sick and weak horses and mules should not be handled under any circumstances. Providing them proper training, they will be deployed at various yatra halts to monitor horses and mules along the yatra route.
