“Employment fair” PM Modi addressed through video message, praised Uttarakhand government, Dhami expressed gratitude

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Uttarakhand Employment Fair through video message. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that today is a day of new beginnings for those who are getting their appointment letters. He said that this is not only a life changing opportunity but also a medium for overall change. Underlining the new experiments being done in the country in the context of the education sector, the Prime Minister said that most of the people who get appointments will serve in the education sector. Mentioning the responsibility falling on the shoulders of the youth of Uttarakhand in order to take this resolution forward, the Prime Minister said, “The new education policy is preparing the youth of India for the new century.”

The Prime Minister said that it is the continuous effort of the Central and Uttarakhand Governments to make the right medium accessible to every youth according to his/her interest in order to move forward. He said that the restoration campaign in government services is also an initiative to be taken in this direction. The Prime Minister said that lakhs of youth of the country have received appointment letters from the Central Government in the last few months and expressed happiness that Uttarakhand is becoming a part of it. He informed that such restoration campaigns are going on on a large scale in BJP-ruled states and union territories across the country. The Prime Minister said, “I am happy that today Uttarakhand has also become a part of it.”

The Prime Minister stressed that we have to change the old belief that mountain water and mountain youth are of no use to the mountain. Underlining the creation of new employment and self-employment opportunities in the hilly areas, the Prime Minister said, “It is a constant endeavor of the Central Government that the youth of Uttarakhand can return to their villages.” Highlighting the investment in infrastructure development in Uttarakhand, the Prime Minister said that the construction of new roads and laying of rail lines is not only increasing connectivity, but also creating many employment opportunities. The Prime Minister said that employment opportunities are being increased everywhere. He cited examples of construction workers, engineers, raw material industries and shops in this regard. He also said that due to the increasing demand in the transport sector, new opportunities are being created. The Prime Minister said that earlier youth from rural areas of Uttarakhand had to move to big cities for employment, but today, thousands of youth are working in Common Service Centers and providing internet and digital services in villages.

The Prime Minister underlined that the tourism sector is growing in Uttarakhand, as remote areas have been connected by road, rail and internet. He said that new tourist places are coming up in the tourism map. The Prime Minister said that due to this the youth of Uttarakhand are now getting employment opportunities near their homes instead of going to big cities. The Prime Minister underlined that Mudra Yojana is playing an important role in increasing employment and self-employment opportunities in the tourism sector. Citing examples of shops, dhabas, guest houses and homestays, the Prime Minister said loans up to Rs 10 lakh are being given without any collateral for such businesses. The Prime Minister said, “So far 38 crore Mudra loans have been given across the country; Around eight crore youth have become entrepreneurs for the first time. He also told that the share of women and youth belonging to SC/ST/OBC category is maximum in this.

The Prime Minister said that this is the ‘Amrit Kaal’ of wonderful possibilities for the youth of India. He urged the youth to speed up India’s development through their services.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat gave appointment letters to the selected assistant teachers (LT) of 05 subjects at Chief Minister’s residence. Appointment letters are being provided to 1431 assistant teachers under the education department. Appointment letters were given to 150 assistant teachers in the Chief Servant Sadan today.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his inspirational address. He said that the Prime Minister has a special attachment towards Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The state is scaling new heights under his leadership and guidance.

Mukhyamantri Utthan Yojana and Gyankosh Yojana will be started in the state – Chief Minister

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced on the occasion that Mukhyamantri Utthan Yojana and Gyankosh Yojana would be started in the state. Chief Minister Utthan to prepare students for competitive exams like IAS, IPS, PCS, NDA, CDS, Medical and Engineering in the state The scheme will be launched. Under this scheme, free coaching facility will be provided to all such students who are not able to do coaching for these exams due to their economic condition and online study material, offline classes, exam related courses, question bank etc. facilities will be made available to the students. Will go Under the Gyankosh scheme, state government will set up rich libraries in each district using departmental hostels, ashram method schools and departmental establishments. These libraries can be used by youth preparing for competitive exams, students, our teachers and members of the community. A contact center will be made in the libraries enlisting qualified, experienced and professional lecturers, who will solve the subject related problems related to competitive examinations. In order to make full use of the libraries, empanelment of experts, arrangement of books, infrastructure etc. will be reviewed by the expert committee.

Regular review is being done to fill the vacant posts of the departments – CM

Congratulating all the selected assistant teachers, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this job fair is being started as an innovative effort to provide employment to unemployed youth in the state. It is the endeavor of the state government to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the state and ensure their empowerment. He said that continuous efforts are being made to fill the vacant posts in government departments. For this, a review is being done every 15 days by Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi. The Chief Minister said that the interests of the youth of the state would not be allowed to be neglected in any form and whoever was guilty would not be spared. The government has implemented a strict anti-copying law in the state for recruitment examinations. He said that some sick minded people are still trying to tarnish the image of the government by making baseless allegations. Such people are accusing the government, who do not know the difference between job and employment, they are preaching. In order to create new narratives in the state, attempts are being made to mislead the youth along with spreading lies by grasping half-baked things. The Chief Minister said that the future of any state and nation is built in schools. Only a good teacher shapes this future.

One thousand cluster model schools will be built in the state: Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that in order to bring quality in education, one thousand schools are being made cluster model schools by the education department, in which primary, junior, high school and intermediate schools coming under the three kilometer limit will be linked together. Will be established in the form of cluster schools. With this, on the one hand, the shortage of teachers will be removed, on the other hand, it will be easy to upgrade the schools and make them resourceful. Students coming to cluster schools will be given Rs 100 per day as rent.

270 schools of the state have been selected under PMShri scheme – Education Minister

270 schools across the state have been selected under the PMShri scheme. In which, from infrastructure works to library, furniture, smart classes and other facilities and education, funds ranging from 1.5 crore to 2 crore will be given by the central government. Dr. Rawat said that the students of class 6 to 12 who get more than 60 percent marks will be given scholarship ranging from Rs.600 to Rs.3000. For this, the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Scholarship Scheme will be started soon. The Education Minister said that the state government is providing free text books, note books, school dress, school bags and shoes to 17 lakh students studying in government schools. In the near future, the government will also give the benefit of this scheme to the students of aided non-government schools.
