Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and former Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari addressed journalists in Dehradun today, 24 February. During this, Bhagat Singh Koshyari gave answers to all the speculations that are being made about him in the politics of Uttarakhand. While Koshyari praised Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, he also took a jibe at former Chief Minister Harish Rawat’s vow of silence. Former Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari had reached the Meet the Press program at Dehradun Press Club today, where he spoke openly to the media. Koshyari said that he has been away from politics 2 months back and he has no desire for any kind of post. On the other hand, when Bhagat Singh Koshyari was questioned about the works of his disciple Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, he said that no one is anyone’s disciple in the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is doing a good job. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He also feels that Chief Minister Dhami is doing better work and is taking the state forward.

He said that Pushkar Dhami is working with full dedication and devotion, whatever suggestions are given to him by the public, he fully implements those suggestions. Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that whoever does good work, he is standing with him, he himself will continue to work for the upliftment of Uttarakhand.

On the other hand, on the question asked about veteran Congress leader and former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Koshyari said that whoever works for the betterment of the state, he will support him, but here he sarcastically said that he is like Harish Rawat. Will never keep an hour’s silent fast.

Apart from this, two of his statements were in headlines when he was the Governor of Maharashtra, on that also Bhagat Singh Koshyari kept his side. Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that if he had made a mistake, he would not hold back from apologizing even to a small child, but he has neither said anything wrong about Savitri Bai Phule nor said anything bad about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

He said that he respects all the former governors of Maharashtra from the bottom of his heart and all of them were better than me, but all the people of Maharashtra know that they discharged their responsibilities day and night. If the history there will be investigated then it will be said that you have created history dear. He also said that the people of Maharashtra have given him immense affection. However, for his statements which have been in the headlines, he has called the media more responsible.
