Shameful act in Narendra Modi Stadium, slogans of Jai Shri Ram raised in the name of Mohammed Shami
A video of a very embarrassing act has surfaced from the middle of the Test match being played between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Some spectators present here are heard chanting Jai Shri Ram by taking the name of Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami. This video is now becoming very viral on social media and there has been a lot of debate on it.
This incident is being told just before the start of the Ahmedabad Test. In the video, Indian players are seen standing near the boundary. During this, some spectators present in the stadium call out the name of Suryakumar Yadav, after that as soon as they see Mohammed Shami, they start raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Here a spectator is even heard saying ‘Jai Shri Ram to Shami’.

A lot of reactions are coming after this video surfaced on social media. Some cricket fans are calling it wrong and are requesting the Gujarat Cricket Association to take action in this matter.
Shami has had to face such antics in the past as well
This is not the first time this has happened with Mohammed Shami. Earlier, when the Indian team lost against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2021 by one-sided 10 wickets, users of a particular religion on social media considered Shami guilty of this defeat. The entire blame for losing to Pakistan was blamed on Shami. After this veterans like Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman came out in support of Shami.
