More than 2.50 lakh devotees have registered, booking of five crores so far in GMVN guest house
There is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees coming from all over the country and the world for the Char Dham Yatra. This can be gauged from the guest house booking and travel registration of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN). About five crore bookings have been done so far in the guest house of GMVN. Chardham Yatra is starting from 22nd April. The portals of Kedarnath will open on 25 April and Badrinath on 27 April. The pilgrims coming for the yatra are booking rooms online in the guest house of GMVN. From February 16 to March 10, 2023, GMVN has received bookings of five crores.
1.39 lakh pilgrims registered for Kedarnath
At the same time, more than 2.50 lakh devotees have registered for Chardham Yatra. In this, 1.39 lakh pilgrims have registered for Kedarnath Dham and 1.14 lakh for Badrinath Dham. Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees regarding the Chardham Yatra. This time also a new record will be created in the number of devotees visiting Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. He told that better arrangements are being made to make the journey of pilgrims coming from the country and the world smooth and safe.
