Uttarakhand: CM Dhami met JP Nadda, was there talk about sharing of responsibilities? read full news

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday paid a courtesy call on BJP National President JP Nadda in New Delhi and invited him to visit Chardham Yatra starting in April. The political significance of the Chief Minister’s meeting with the National President is also being ascertained. It is believed that after discussion with Nadda, now the Chief Minister can distribute the responsibility to the senior leaders of the party in his government. The party’s state president Mahendra Bhatt, after meeting the Chief Minister recently, had indicated that after Holi, the state government may announce its obligations. He had handed over the list of names of party workers to state in-charge Dushyant Gautam for the responsibilities. According to sources, the chief minister has informed the national president about his government’s work and political issues.

The CM is believed to have given information regarding the recent anti-copying law of the state government, recruitment process of Public Service Commission, conduct of examinations and progress of SIT and STF investigation and termination of interview in Group C recruitment examination. The two leaders also discussed about compensation for buildings, rehabilitation plan and selection of land for the victims of Joshimath landslide. The CM apprised the National President about the preparations for the Chardham Yatra.
