Uttarakhand: Dhami cabinet meeting over, approval on these important proposals

An important meeting of the Dhami cabinet was held in Dehradun on Monday. Many important proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting. State’s Excise Policy 2023-24 was approved in the cabinet meeting. After which now country and foreign liquor will become cheaper in the state. The government has taken this decision in view of liquor smuggling from Uttar Pradesh to Uttarakhand.

Excise Policy Approval

From April 1, the price of domestic and foreign liquor will be cheaper by Rs 100 to Rs 300.
There will be a difference of up to Rs 20 between the prices of different brands of liquor between Uttarakhand and UP.
A cess of Re 1 per bottle will be taken for cow protection.
A cess of Re 1 per bottle will also be taken for the welfare of the players.
Cess of one rupee per bottle will also be taken for women welfare.

The process of passing maps is easy

The process of passing single house maps in Uttarakhand has become easier.
You can apply for the map with an affidavit.
If the authority does not object within seven days, then the building construction can start.

Vehicle fitness fee

Under this, the old fee will be charged for the fitness of the vehicles for one year.
After one year, the new fee will be applicable for the fitness of the vehicles.
