Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who was made an accused in the Delhi Liquor Scam case and lodged in Tihar Jail, is not taking the name of abating. CBI has filed the charge sheet today in the liquor scam case. Manish Sisodia’s name appears for the first time in this charge sheet. Apart from Sisodia, the name of CA Buchi Babu Goranthala of Hyderabad is also included. The Central Investigation Agency has filed this charge sheet in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. CBI has filed a charge sheet in this case for the second time. At the same time, the health of Manish Sisodia’s wife has deteriorated. He has been admitted to the hospital.

The Central Investigation Agency CBI has filed the charge sheet for the second time in the Delhi Excise Scam. Apart from Manish Sisodia, Buji Babu, Arjun Pandey and Amandeep Singh Dhal have also been made accused in this charge sheet. A case has also been registered against them under sections 120B, 201 and 420 of the IPC and sections 7, 7A, 8 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Earlier, Sisodia had also cited the ill health of his wife for bail in the liquor scam case.

Sisodia is in judicial custody till May 1
Manish Sisodia is in judicial custody till May 1 in the liquor scam case. He was first arrested by the CBI. He was then taken into custody by the ED in connection with the same case and money laundering. The Supreme Court had earlier asked Sisodia to approach the Sessions Court or the High Court. Since then his case is going on in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court.
