Sunil Gavaskar selected Indian team’s playing-11 for the final, told why Ajinkya Rahane was selected

The Indian team for the ICC World Test Championship final has been announced. After a long time in Team India, experienced batsman Ajinkya Rahane returned. He remains at the center of discussion. Former India captain Gavaskar has also selected his playing-11 for the final. He has selected Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill as openers. He is followed by Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane. For wicketkeeping, Gavaskar has chosen KL Rahul in place of KS Bharath. He has not kept Akshar Patel in the team. Gavaskar has kept Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jaydev Unadkat, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj in his playing-11.
